Entries will be accepted from teachers currently registered with An Coimisiun le Rince Gaelacha. 2. Objections must be lodged in writing within one hour of the announcement of a result of a competition and be accompanied by a fee of €20.00 via a registered teacher. 3. Age will be reckoned from the 1st January 2010. 4. The committee reserves the right to transfer competitions between halls if necessary. It may be also be necessary to use relief adjudicators in order to maintain the smooth running of the feis. This will be kept to a minimum. 5. With regard to toe movements no Block, enpointe, stationery or moving is allowed to be performed for all ages up to under 12. However, An Coimisiun rule, dancers who will compete under 13 from 1st January 2010, may perform enpointe movements from September 2009. 6. Any form of unauthorized photography which has the capability to capture a dancer’s imabe whilst in motion using electronic/manual means e.g. mobile phones, video, still camera, commercial film with/without a flash enhancement or any other means of recording is strictly prohibited. 7. Traditional Set Dances must be chosen from the following list: St. Patricks Day, The Blackbird, Job of Journeywork, Garden of Daisies, King of the Fairies, Jockey to the Fair and 3 Sea Captains. 8. Preliminary Championships are confined to dancers who have never won 1st prize in a Preliminary Championship or in an Open Championship adjudicated by a minimum of three adjudicators. Dancers who have attained a World medal winning position in the current year may not compete in this grade. 9. Parents are responsible for the conduct and behavior of their children at all times whilst attending the Feis and within and around the hotel complex. 10. The Committee as far as practicable will provide a floor surface suitable for dancing. However, the committee cannot accept any liability whatsoever for injuries sustained while on stage, or within the practice area. The lodgment of an entry will be deemed to be an acceptance of this provision by a dancer and by her/his parent/guardian. 11. Dancing is only permitted in the practice area. 12. The use of artificial carriage aids is strictly forbidden. Any competitor found to be using artificial carriage aids and subsequently refuses to remove same will be subject to disqualification from that particular competition. Medically prescribed apparatus (proof of which may be required) will be exempt from this ruling. 13. An Coimusun rules will apply if disputes arise that are not covered by the above rules. Adjudication System Craobhacha A panel of 3 Adjudicators will adjudicate Craobhacha and a separate solo result will be given for all 3 rounds of the championship. This will be taken from one of the adjudicating panel.
